SAFE Credit Union, a California-based financial institution, has deployed Promotion Suite Premium tool from NCR, a technology services provider for the financial industry, to create a better targeted digital member experience.
NCR’s Promotion Suite Premium tool makes use of real-time geofencing information, based on the person’s location and individual needs to create a customized online and digital experience with a human touch for SAFE members.
The technology services firm said that its new solution will enable SAFE to build brand loyalty, deepen customer relationships and improve members’ financial well-being through personalizing the banking experience with its innovative tools.
SAFE has promoted a cash back rewards program with push notifications, to yield a 30% conversion rate, increased engagement, and higher card spend.
In addition, members of SAFE were excited to receive a location-based in-app message from the company, highlighting a giveaway when they arrived at a local sporting event.
SAFE has seen an 88% drop in abandoned calls within minutes of sending an alert message to impacted customers of a debit card issue which kept them updated until the issue was resolved.
SAFE Credit Union digital banking manager Rayna Salas said: “Our early work with NCR’s Promotion Suite Premium features allowed our digital banking experience to meet and exceed what big banks offer today. Credit unions are renowned for loyal customers, but we need to constantly reward that loyalty by upping the customer experience on all of their screens.”
NCR’s new Promotion Suite Premium capability includes push notifications, geofencing, beacons, campaign management, app messaging and secure chat in an integrated digital experience.
