Clearwater Analytics, a leading technology platform for investment management, has joined forces with J.P. Morgan Asset Management to launch a new integration aimed at redefining how hedge funds handle cash operations. The partnership links Enfusion by CWAN with the Morgan Money® trading platform, J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s short-term investment solution, bringing hedge funds a single, automated system for managing and investing idle cash.
With this new integration, hedge funds can automate cash allocation, channeling idle funds into a range of money market investments while distributing them among various managers, custodians, and currencies. It also helps lower concentration risk and gives clearer visibility into liquidity through real-time data and automated deposit and withdrawal features. By cutting out manual treasury work, teams can focus more on trading decisions and broader strategy.
“Every dollar sitting in a single account represents both a missed opportunity and unnecessary concentration risk,” said Scott Erickson, Chief Revenue Officer at CWAN. “Together with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, we’ve built a system that makes cash an active, automated asset—helping hedge funds capture more yield, strengthen governance, and simplify operations.”
The collaboration merges Enfusion’s portfolio and order management capabilities with the MORGAN MONEY® platform, offering hedge funds access to multiple fund providers, currencies, and settlement choices in one seamless interface.
“Our collaboration with CWAN reflects our shared commitment to delivering institutional-grade solutions that simplify complexity,” said Paul Przybylski, Global Head of Product Strategy and Morgan Money at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. “This integration gives hedge funds a straightforward way to enhance yield, diversification, and liquidity oversight—without adding operational burden.”
The partnership highlights a growing industry movement toward data-driven and automated treasury management solutions, as institutional investors look to improve efficiency, cash control, and risk management through technology.
