Mizuho Bank, Ltd., the integratedΒ retailΒ andΒ corporate bankingΒ unit ofΒ Mizuho Financial GroupΒ and one of Japanβs largest financial services institutions, is modernizing its legacyΒ banking systemΒ for international operations withΒ Oracle. Over the coming years, Mizuho will implement Oracleβs banking solutions to support critical functions, including direct deposit accounts and liquidity management, at its operations in major overseas offices. The roll-out began with the successful replacement of Mizuhoβs legacy banking system at its New York offices.

In addition to its use ofΒ Oracle FLEXCUBEΒ andΒ Oracle Banking Liquidity Management, Mizuho Bank also recently went live onΒ Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource PlanningΒ (ERP) to support financial processes in its NY accounting department. The bank will expand the deployment to include the bankβs operations in Singapore and additional global business centers.
