NatWest Markets wins the Consensus Economics UK Forecast Accuracy Award for 2019

NatWest Markets has win the Consensus Economics UK Forecast Accuracy Award for 2019. The award is given to the forecaster with the lowest average error rate over a defined testing period. It’s determined by using ‘Mean Absolute Error analysis’ to ascertain the difference between the forecast prediction and the actual data outturn.

Congratulations to Ross Walker, Chief UK Economist at NatWest Markets and the UK Desk Strategy team for this fantastic achievement. The accolade underscores the strength of our UK franchise, and accurate forecasting to support customers to make well-considered investment decisions.

Ian Donaldson, Head of Flow Sales for EMEA and APAC at NatWest Markets, says “we’re truly proud to have won this award again. This is great recognition for Ross Walker and our UK Desk Strategy team, who work tirelessly to ensure our forecasts are well guided and offer the best possible service for our clients.”
