Global financial technology firm FIS has introduced the FIS Asset Servicing Management Suite, a new set of automated, connected tools built to make asset servicing more efficient. The suite brings together processes that usually operate separately, like corporate actions processing, proxy voting, class action claims, operational claims, and tax reclaim management, into a single platform. With this integration, FIS says it wants to simplify how institutions manage these functions, improve day-to-day efficiency, and continue expanding its financial technology reach worldwide.
The launch comes as the asset servicing sector struggles with growing complexity and fragmented systems. Many firms continue to rely on multiple vendors and unconnected systems, which often leads to data gaps, slower workflows, and a greater chance of errors. This fragmented setup makes it harder to keep costs under control and adds to operational risks, often affecting the overall client experience. The lack of flexibility and growing complexity in older systems have also made it difficult for institutions to run asset servicing efficiently.
To meet these challenges, the FIS Asset Servicing Management Suite delivers a single platform that gives institutions better visibility and stronger control over the entire asset servicing process. It removes the need for multiple systems, bridges data gaps, and keeps information consistent and dependable across operations. With higher levels of automation, teams can spend less time on repetitive manual work and focus more on strategic priorities. The suite also works to cut risk, improve decision-making, reduce costs, and offer clients a more seamless experience.
Matt Stauffer, head of Back Office Solutions at FIS, highlighted the significance of the solution, stating: “Operational inefficiencies in asset servicing directly translate to real financial losses for everyday investors. When corporate actions are processed incorrectly or proxy votes fail to reach their intended destination, or qualification to participate in class action opportunities are not identified, it is not just institutions that suffer – it is also the customers whose pensions and savings depend on these systems working flawlessly. FIS Asset Servicing Management Suite helps to eliminate the fragmented and often overlooked post-trade infrastructure that creates these risks, unlocking operational efficiency across all areas of asset servicing.”
