Sage, a leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, has introduced Sage Intacct new capabilities aimed at helping finance teams work faster, strengthen control, and make a greater impact.

The upgraded platform Sage Intacct R3 2025 now integrates AI-driven automation, embedded payment functionality, and sustainability insights. These features are intended to simplify operations, accelerate financial close, and free finance teams to focus on areas that create higher business value.

Today’s finance leaders continue to face pressure to balance speed, accuracy, and strategy while dealing with manual tasks, fragmented systems, and rising ESG requirements. Research from Sage shows that 84% of finance leaders want to close the books faster, while 87% are looking for stronger accounts payable (AP) automation.

The features of the platform are intelligent reconciliations, simplified payments, and real-time emissions estimates. Together, they enable Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) to eliminate inefficiencies, drive resilience, and fuel sustainable growth.

“Finance teams are always looking to save time so they can invest in growth and their business’s success while maintaining clarity and control,” said Dan Miller, EVP, Financials & ERP Division, Sage. “We’re delivering AI-powered automation in everyday finance tasks, helping leaders move with agility, reduce risk and operate with greater confidence.”
