Lloyds has launched the Lloyds Ultra, a credit card that combines simplicity with real rewards. “Lloyds Ultra is a flexible, fuss-free and refreshingly easy to understand credit card – no hassle, just rewards” says Rich Napier, Credit Card Director at Lloyds. The card will strip away complexity from day-to-day banking, providing customers with a simple means of earning as they spend.
The card is accompanied by a package of rewards that make it attractive for usage. Cardholders earn 1% cashback on purchases for the initial 12 months, after which they then earn 0.25% cashback for the account lifespan. There is no limitation on the cashback that customers can earn.
Lloyds Ultra credit card also eliminates unexpected costs that often come with international spending. Foreign exchange fees are waived, though local costs may still apply, giving customers flexibility.
Cash withdrawals carry no charges, whether taken at home or abroad, although third-party ATM charges could still apply. The Lloyds Ultra credit card does not impose monthly account fees and carries a low representative interest rate of 12.9% APR variable. Rewards are simple and straightforward to access: cashback is credited once a year, with the total deposited directly into the customer’s account as a single annual amount.
Napier highlighted the card’s versatility. “Lloyds Ultra is the best of everything we have to offer in credit cards, all in one handy, flexible card. Whether it’s a new washing machine, or next year’s summer holiday, whatever you buy, you’ll get cashback when you use Lloyds Ultra – turning your spending into meaningful rewards that grow throughout the year. That’s not all – we also won’t charge when you use Lloyds Ultra when you’re abroad and there are no monthly account fees. Wherever life takes you, Lloyds Ultra helps you make the most of your money, simply, with rewards that really add up.” With Lloyds Ultra, the bank is offering a flexible and practical option that combines everyday convenience with long-term value for cardholders.
