Euromoney named Santander Private Banking as the best private bank in Mexico, Portugal and Chile

Santander Private Banking was named ‘Best Private Banking Overall’ for the first time in Mexico, the seventh year in a row in Portugal and the sixth consecutive year in Chile by Euromoney magazine. It was also named best bank for the ‘Ultra High Net Worth’ segment (over 30 million dollars) in Spain.

For fifteen years, Euromoney magazine has given these awards based on the votes of more than 2,000 entities, including banks, fund managers and family offices.
Victor Matarranz, head of Banco Santander’s Wealth Management division, which includes the Private Banking and Asset Management businesses at a global level, said: “These Awards acknowledge the strength of our Private Banking model which adds value through its unique capacity to establish trust and advise our clients as they navigate important financial decisions”.

Santander Private Banking relies on a team of specialized private bankers in Spain, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Portugal, UK, US, Poland and Argentina to offer clients. It has a network of 100 private banking offices that employ 2,000 professionals. Santander Private Banking has assets under management of €163,000 million throughout the world.
